That Touch of Mink

Does fashion matter? Always- though not quite as much after death.

Isn't it romantic?

No one has to hit you over the head twice with a W Magazine for you to get that fall fashion is romantic--you get it--the lace, the velvet and the empire waists. Problem is, you're not exactly sure how to follow the trend without looking like you just stepped out of a Merchant Ivory film. Sounds like some affordable romantic accessories would doing the trick...sounds like a job for La Vie Parisienne.

I first discovered this delightful line in Aspen this summer and had to stop myself from buying *everything* in *every* color. Using jewelry molds from 1900s France and a method of applying old silver--these delightful Austrian crystal pieces will bring the romance to any outfit and yet, are simple enough to be worn everyday. Their new charm bracelets are to die for...

Some pieces can be found locally at Zelda Zen, 46 East Cross Street in Federal Hill or at Amarylis in the Gallery.

Stephanie -- Thanks again. I just love your site. I too had a chance to peruse La Vie Parisienne, and in Aspen too! As to sweaters, I'm a guy and my girlfriend buys my sweaters for me and has great taste. I'm so glad to learn everything there is to offer in Baltimore, since it is my new city. Lion
